Our comment on todays selections: Newmarket 1.50 Tassel. Although Richard Hannons youngsters have not had the brightest of starts we had heard good reports about our selections homework, and although there looked to be a couple of promising types in the race non of the calibre of Highcleres youngster, it did go on to win quitre cosily in the end but did run green and Ryan Moores experience came into play in the closing stages. Won 6/5

Newmarket 4.45 Twice Over. Our selection had race conditions very much in its favour a group one winner without a penalty for that win. As far as we were concerned this looked a penalty kick, but Henry Cecil had stated the horse was maybe just short of peak fitness, which tempered out enthusiasm slightly although we did still exoect it to win. Just touched off on the line and well clear of the field, race fitness did tell in the end. 2nd 6/5

Official result:
Newmarket 1.50 Tassel: prominent, edged right over 1f out, led inside final furlong, ran on opened 6/5 touched 5/4

Newmarket 4.45 Twice Over: in touch, headway to track leaders over 3f out. edged left and led 2f out, pressed inside final furlong, carried right towards finish, headed post opened 10/11 touched 5/4 £1200-£1000 (x3) £1400-£1400 £2000-£2200 £500-£600

Our comment on todays selections: Newmarket 2.50 Perrenial, ran poorly as the info we had was very strong and connections thought this horse would win well. The horse was heavily punted but showed absolutley nothing and this is clearly not the horses true form.

Official result:
tracked leader, ridden 3f out, weakened inside final furlong opened 6/4 touched 5/4 £1200-£800 £2750-£2000 £2200-£1600 £1375-£1000 £1100-£800 (x6) £2500-£2000

Our comment on todays selections:Pontefract 2.50 Niceofyoutotellme was heavily supported throughout the morning backed from 6/4 into 8/11 the selection was never in danger of collecting and landing us some good bets.

Official result:held up in mid-division, smooth headway 3f out, led on bit over 1f out, soon clear, heavily eased closing stages, not extended opened 4/5 touched 4/5

Pontefract 4.25 Slendid Light. With our first bet winning easily our second selection looked a certainty as it had beaten this horse easily last time out and its current handicap mark was made to look very lenient, unfortunatley the horse ran very free in the early stages and soon ran out of steam up the home straight, the selection failed to frank the earlier form and was very dissapointing, we were on this one big time.

Official result: took keen hold, tracked leader, led over 8f out, headed inside final 2f, head high and tired over 1f out, weakened inside final furlong opened 13/8 touched 2/1 £1000-£500 (x9) £1500-£800 £750-£400 (x4)

Our comment on todays selection: Wolverhampton 6.55 Eshaab. Although our selection briefly took up the running and looked the likely winner the step up in trip was not in its favour here and ran out of steam in the closing stages, this was a poor race and connections steamed into this runner, as it went off extremely short (backed from 5/4 to 4/11) finishing a dissapointing 2nd looks one to swerve in future.
Official result:held up in 5th, headway over 3f out, went 2nd 2f out, carried wide entering straight, led briefly 1f out, soon ridden, not quicken inside final furlong opened 4/9 touched 4/9

Our comment on todays selection today: Lingfield 2.30 Anaconda. The race again cut up meaning the price for our selection was again cramped 8/15 SP but again connections steamed into this early a.m. and the 6/4, 5/4, 11/10 just eveporated. The horse was again smashed into on course and from the moment it broke from the stalls took up the running and never came out of 5th gear, the horse had run in a listed race last time out and even with a Gosden runner backers were not put off have a right old fashioned gamble here.

Official result: made all, clear and in command entering final furlong, soon eased, comfortable opened 8/11

NOTE; THIS IS OUR 7TH WINNER FROM 8 BETS TO DATE.

Our comment on todays selection today: Lingfield 4.35 Forgotten Hero, was basically far above the opposition it ran against today and was in command from the off, at the time we gave out the bet 6/4, 5/4 was freely available and basically as soon as the stalls opened we were collecting.  Official Result:  raced freely made all, clear halfway, steadied back 2f out, shaken up and sprinted clear final furlong, eased near finish, comfortable opened 8/11 touched 4/6

Our Bet today Fontwell 2.20 Milarrow went off a skinny price for us, but the likely favourite had been withdrawn more or less as we got the info about our selection so we had to give the bet out as the withdrawal of the favourite made the selections task more straightforward, the horse actually struggled to get on top for a while as it was also feeling the very firm ground but eventually got on top after the last to land some lovely bets even at the short odds.

Result:-
tracked leader, pushed along after 8th, ridden to lead bypassing omitted last, edged right, all out opened 4/6 touched 8/11

Our info today was for a horse considered much better than the opposition it faced today RED MERLIN 2.35 NEWCASTLE and was also thought to be fit and ready after quite a bit of a lay off, it had to give weight away to all and was not quite possibly as fit as connections thought as it only scraped home by a head, landing some nice bets for us, result:-
led, not fluent and ridden after last, soon edged right, hard pressed flat, found extra near finish, gamely opened 2/1 touched 10/3 £5500-£2000 £900-£400

Our bet today ran at Stratford in the 5.10 - Spirit Of Shankly. The horse was heavily backed as soon as the bookies put up their early morning prices and the 3/1 - 5/2 quickly dissapeared, anyone who watched the race would have been very impressed by this performance. held up mid-division, headway over 6f out led over 3f out, shaken up and quickened over 1f out, ran on strongly, eased towards finish opened 5/4 touched 11/8

Kempton 6.00 Sinfonico
Our selection today ran very poor race, pushed along at the two furlong pole the horse didn't quite pick up as the jockey expected, he did not have the horse in the best position at the furlong marker and had to switch when short of room, finished a close up 4th at a well backed 2/1 favourite.

Todays selection 5.30 at Lingfield Haamaat
dwelt in rear, headway on outer to join leaders over 2f out, led over 1f out, ran on, comfortable opened 5/6 touched 10/11 sp 4/6. Our Comments: Although dropped in trip the horse had shown good early speed in its races to date, so the drop in trip would not be a problem, we had heard that the horse was working very well at the Haggas yard and the stable were on at 6/4 early morning, the selection ran out a convincing winner.

Kempton 7.35 Icelander Won 6/4
Comment: We knew before the off that Mark Johnstons horse was much better class than the opposition in last nights event. Going off at a generous looking 6/4 the selection never really looked in danger and won with plenty in hand.
