Believe me winning is not easy even when you turn the tables and lay horses rather than backing them to win. You may think you have found a long priced runner that looks to have everything against it and looks a nailed on loser only to see it defy the odd's and spring a surprise and when at a big price!!

The key to laying horses is not to try and interpret the form. Form does work out but only a small percentage of the time. I have been a form student for many years but struggled to use this angle to make money laying. It was my study of the statistics that eventually turned me into a successful layer.

I looked at four scenarios that should prove to be a horses undoing and make it difficult for the horse in question to win under these circumstances. I then ran the four scenario's through my extensive database to see what the results would be long term.

You must take a long term stance when backing or laying horses no one wins all of the time and accepting losing runs must be part of your make up if you are to succeed.
